Around the Corner, In the Woods~ A Dog RP~

She pointed out a few more things before pausing and taking a deep breath. " Should be, although I might have missed something minor. "

"Let me know if you remember" He replied without looking at her, he was too busy watching a herd of deer.

She nodded and crawled to other side of the herd, intending to spook one towards him so he could kill it.

She boundedc forward and shouldered it, sending it falling on it's side, bleeding heavily from the throat. She then grabbed it throat again, and with a viscious twist, killed it.

Bella snarled at him, and shot him a glare before easily lifting the deer with her jaws and walking back to camp. Taquo bounded forward, his tail wagging eagerly. " Nice catch! " he said, as the pup, Red, pounced on the deer's leg and began chewing the hoof for fun. Eric stepped forward to nod his approval. " Good job."

"It has been brought to my attention that our resources here are quickly becoming depleted," Alpha Sabre thundered, silencing the audience of the quiet chatter they uttered amongst themselves. Their ears pricked high, the group listened intently. "Our scouts have found better land, with thriving foliage and fairer weather." A smile cracked upon his normally stoic countenance, "And with both of those factors comes plenty of prey." The pack bellowed resounding howls and cheers, only to be hushed once more when he lifted his paw in a gesture for them to quiet down, chuckling under his breath. "We will be moving tomorrow, but I realize the dangers of moving during the day with the possibilities of run-ins with other commpeting packs. And that is why we are moving at the crack of dawn," he declared firmly, his eyes scanning the crowd for any defiance or disagreement. All but a few young mothers seemed to be quite enthusiastic about the big news.

"Tomorrow morning?!" One mother seemed almost indignant at this. Sabre was patient with her. He laid down and folded his paws neatly, nodding for her to go on. "The pups will all be asleep! Such an early trip will be hard on them." Sabre sighed and mindlessly dragged a sharp claw along the dirt. "It is for the best of the pack. The last thing I want to happen is for us to be attacked when we are moving with your vulnerable pups, Brandy." Brandy simpered uneasily, "I thank you for considering their safety, Sabre. I suppose there is nothing better that we can do."

"Tomorrow it is then."
