Aaron got slowly to his feet, stretched, looked around to make sure that nobody was watching, then melted into the shadows.

Unbeknownst to him, a ridgeback cross watched him carefully before following from a distance, it's footsteps silent, and it's body melting from shadow to shadow.

Aaron continued on through the forest, not even bothering to be quite. Once he reached the border he stopped and waited.

The golden-red dog shifted sideways in to the protection of a bush, where it lay, watching.

After a few minutes another wolf-dog could be seen making its way through the trees towards Aaron. The golden colored dog stopped and spoke in low tones to Aaron, flicking his ears nervously.

The she-dog crept closer to listen suspiciously to Aaron, her eyes warily watchhing the other dog.

"Good, your here" Aaron said to Simon "Took ya long enough"

"I got held up" He replied, pinning his ears against his head and lowering his body.

Aaron glared at him "Well your here now, lets get back"

Aaron turned without another word and began leading the golden colored canine back towards the camp.

She waited a moment before following at a safe distance. Her ears were tuned to any conversation they might carry on as she patiently stalked the suspicious-looking pair.

"How much longer?" The golden wolf asked loudly

"Shut up" Aaron growled "Do you want the whole forest to hear?"

"Sorry" He muttered, lowering his head. In a lower voice he repeated "How much longer?"

"Not much, it will be soon" Aaron replied
