"Shut up" Aaron growled "Do you want the whole forest to hear?"

"Not much, it will be soon" Aaron replied

She cocked her head questioningly, and tried to wring the meaning out of the few words and actions.

Once the reached the camp, Aaron reached down to the food pile and tossed the golden wolfdog a rabbit "Eat up, you'll need your strength"

The golden wolfdog nodded obediently and began chewing.

She walked to the other side of camp, then trotted across it towards them with a challenging snarl.
Bella's eyes flashed as he ate the rabbitt. " What is he doing here?" she demanded of Aaron.

Aaron swallowed a mouthful and cleared his throat "Ahh, Bella, I see you've met Simon, my partner. I told you about him the other day" He replied innocently.

She glared at him a minute more, then put on a fake smile. " Well, I'll of course be there to help and accompany you, show you around..." she said, tilting her head slightly to the side in fake sweetness. But if you looked at her eyes, they were lit by a fiery blaze of.... suspicion.

He lifted her chin. " Yes " she said, in a tone that suggested she was speaking to someone not very intelligent.
