Here are just a few photos from today. The guineas have been escaping since the snow brought down the aviary netting and the chickens were getting antsy, so I let them out to free range today. Oh boy, did they have fun. I raked a nice large section of green grass for them and they had a blast. Pardon this blurry one from last week, the guineas are frikken FAST! We chose our main roosters today. The rest will be freezer meat. Here is Master Chief, double blue bands. He has very long legs. This is our 2nd choice, Captain Oyster, green on right blue on left bands. He's got a large beautiful comb and he's VERY friendly. They've got 17 ladies to share. These other 4 photos are just some shots from around the homestead here. I'm a big fan of nature Fall leaves. Moss & Pine Needles. Pale Yellow Tree in the Woods. Beautiful White Pine Needles.
