Fur you kinda have to do in layers. I usually do it in acrylic, so work from dark to light. First- get the darkest colors down. In this case, it would be the rust and the grey. After that, just go to work painting the highlights as fur. Some prefer to work from back to the front (like, if it were a flat surface. Think grass) but I prefer to work the other way, covering up my old stuff as I go. Since the snout and face have shorter hair, I wouldn't blend or use the smudge tool on that area.View attachment 1495344 View attachment 1495347
Fur is very difficult to do. ;--;
But, it does look soft and fluffy, despite how bad I am at fur. XD
I worked in layers, and I think it's looking much better. I need to practice more though.Fur you kinda have to do in layers. I usually do it in acrylic, so work from dark to light. Maybe look up some tutorials on how to draw grass. It might help.
Another thing you can do is use a photo you took and make it your texture layer. This was a trick I watch a retired Disney artist use in one of his speed paints. He did have Photoshop, though, so I don't know if MediBang will work. He just took chunks of the photo and mushed it around until it fit in the area.
Ooo so pretty! Needed the second picture *u*I worked in layers, and I think it's looking much better. I need to practice more though.
I didn't use the smudge at all for the fluff, I just used a clear brush thing(?). XD
Tbh, I rarely use MediBang anymore; I've moved onto AutoDesk, because I prefer the texture of the brushes and the reduced crashing.

(Brighter one for dull phones- like mine. XD)
I heard of a different free art app, but I'll have to wait till I get home to tell you because I can't rememberI worked in layers, and I think it's looking much better. I need to practice more though.

There's a bunch. There's MediBang, Autodesk, Ibis Paint, Penup, Adobe, Artflow, etc. :3I heard of a different free art app, but I'll have to wait till I get home to tell you because I can't remember
Tate.Okay, so:
Tate is usually a guy with a rough attitude who prefers plain white shirts over anything "complicated". He's almost fearless towards pretty much everything, and he's willing to push others (and his own) limits. But, at the same time, he'd rather not, since he views it as too much effort. His ideal day is nothing and a coffee.
The AU version is a scared-of-everything type of guy, who avoids anything that could get him into trouble. Despite that, part of him likes to stick out, he likes his bright clothes and his above-average intelligence. His ideal day is studying, helping the elderly lady next door with odd chores, and sticking to only the healthiest foods available.
Hunter is usually the happy-go-lucky kind of guy; the loud one; the joker; the up for anything adventurer. (The type of guy Tate could never be friends with. XD) His loud and playful personality is almost always getting him in trouble. He's not the brightest bulb, especially when it comes to reading "the mood" of the people around him, but his good looks usually keep him rounded. He'll protect his friends with his life, if neccesary. His ideal day is hanging out with friends, and sports of all kinds.
The AU version is a shy, quiet, emotional guy who doesn't exactly know where he fits in. He's not good at comedy, and he doesn't really have that many friends. He's absolutely no good at anything athletic-- Not because he's lazy, but because he has asthma. His ideal day is sleep, and maybe some art.
Stachey, is that okay? XD
