I think your drawings look great! And actually, some of the elements I've only seen you use, is stuff I'd love to try to incorporate into my drawings. The way you color things make them look like they always existed.

do a few drawings just for fun, no matter how they turn out, just be silly, and make it ridiculous. It doesn't need to be perfect.
