    can someone please explain to me the difference.

    I keep coming across new articles that should be in the forum/thread section.
    (Newbies not knowing where to post--I think)

    Articles should be more information based. Think of them like a magazine.

    The forums/threads are places for questions, responses, etc.

    I hadn't noticed til saw your post, but you're right...looks like some new members may not know, so yes, IMO report it - those folks may be disappointed to get no answers to their issues.

    Yes, please report the articles and we'll help the members along. The great thing is the software lets the moderators easily convert and move an article over to threads!
