Article - "A Dog for a Duck"

The "ducks are a dime a dozen," remark really popped my cork. Just fuming when they say that. I think they should pay a bounty for the owner who lets his animals "oops- got loose."

And to the poster who thinks the dogs were just playing & they don't deserve to die. aA toy is a nylabone, a tennis ball, kong, or fetching a buckboard wheel or frizzbie something - not a live animal that loses his life in the exchange. I'll be back later when I cool off.

As someone who owns ducks AND sees them as family pets, this is pretty offensive. I love my ducks just as much as some people love their dogs and I would come unhinged if my neighbors dogs came and killed my ducks.
