I have a 12-15 lb WPR rooster, how do I hold him and get spem
any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

You can put them between your legs upside down to milk them,.. after you stroke them while holding them. I've done it this way on LF cochins. I wish I could hold them and do this, but I have tiny chubby little baby hands, so over my legs they go.

Silkies I do in my hands, with the eyedropper bulb in my mouth. Don't be afraid if you don't get much the first few times- takes awhile for you to get used to it, and takes a few times for the roo to get 'into' it.

Depends on the quality and bloodlines. . . Some get kind of weak in fertility and ability after 4 years, some last longer.

As for AI itself, gosh, I couldn't help ya. . . I myself prefer natural breeding birds, but even the times I tried it just out of curiosity, it was a complete failure. I think the big thing though was clipping vent feathers back entirely, which I'm not a big fan of.
