Sure, of course. I know the chest is awful, I'm still working on how to illustrate that correctly.

I have not been doing chickens for long. A year at most.
No,the chest is my fav part! What you talk about?

I just wanted to say that maybe you should add more white space and more complete dark. Contrast, I think its called. It adds depth. That's all.

My bro did a turkey for a contest, and the judge said it needed more contrast. It just reminded me of that. :)

Thanks. It's a bit darker in real life, the camera washed it out a bit.

By the way, I love your work.

D'aww. Thanks.
I figured it was darker. Maybe you could experiment with 'drawing' with your eraser. But, still. I find that clean, white paper in the midst of a dark drawing is impressive. How or why, I don't know.

Btw, I think your photography is top-notch

Yep. It's something I'm working on.

I tend to make everything WAY way dark and then pull the whites out of that. It doesn't get them as clean looking, but the darks are smooth.

I've been working in watercolours more recently so I don't have many graphite pencil pieces worth showing anyone.

Another piece with not enough contrast...

Edit: didn't attach
