I've had some really bad experiences with the post office but I've had some really great mail carriers as well.
When I left NY to move here to TN, one of my biggest regrets was losing the mail carrier that I had for 10 years. She was wonderful, kind, considerate. Always a smile on her face. Our little post office was wonderful as well. If I had a bunch of packages to ship out, the postmaster would call me at the beginning of the week and tell me which day was probably going to be the best day to ship them out.
I'm educating my two mail carriers here about my eggs that I get...ie...don't shake the boxes please...(I caught one of them doing that..ACK!!!) And they will bring my packages right to the door if its eggs instead of leaving them in the barn.
So to all the good carriers....I thank you!
