BTW, except for the elusive white meat A & M, coturnix quail are considered a dark meat bird even if dove, ducks, etc. have darker meat.
yes that is exactly why he charges so much because he has a good strain of them. That is with out question, they were real A&M and much bigger than any others I had gotten before. I left him good feedback I just was trying to describe him so others could find him. I did not mean to be harsh as I was not unhappy with my purchase.
