Asian Black Chicken

So I got an Asian Black from Tractor Supply and it has markings that my last Asian Black didn’t have, she was almost completely black except for and almost barred like feather on her wing.

I tried looking up if there’s differences between cockerels and pullets but nothing helpful came up, so do any of y’all think it’s a rooster? They are quite young so it’s understandable if it’s too soon! They also have some thick little legs too if that helps!(I can also add in a picture of my last Asian Black if you’d like!)

Update: I’m certain that this little chickie is a boy!

Aren't the boys barred on this hybrid? If so, that spot on the back of the head indicates the barring gene... and that he would be male.

Yes! He’s getting his feathers in and they are barred!

The way to tell the difference, at hatch, is the white head spot. That indicates there's a barring gene. The pullets of this hybrid will not have a head spot, and the cockerels will.

Ok! He did have a spot on his head when he was smaller!
