Okay, this little ball of cuteness hatched out of a medium sized light brown egg. She is from a pen of "egg-laying standard sized chickens", could be a mix or a pure something. Guesses anyone?????

That's "her" front left, at bottom of picture, dark reddish/brown "chipmunk looking" back. The others are 3 leghorns or leghorn mixes (yellow ones), 1 feisty Serama (lil' black chick), and 4 Silkies that came from WHITE roo & WHITE hens (??????!!!!!!!!!!). I want to post pix of the 4 silkies, too because I was, um, surprised at their appearance...

I wonder if your silkies are grays? I've heard both parents have to carry it for it to show up, and they sort of look a lot like a partridge when hatched, with the chipmunk strips. I know that because I bought a chick as a partridge that turned out to be a gray. I LOVE GRAYS! I want to find more of them.

Yes. It may be an EE. (easter egger)
but it is definalty an IC. (insanely cute)
I have some IC's too... all different sizes, shapes, and species.

I'll chime in with EE, too. We had several "chipmunk" stripe chicks, and they all turned into EEs. The one we had that looks like your INSANELY CUTE chick actually turned into the greatest, friendliest hen that looks like a Peregrine Falcon. Stunning. Enjoy!!! Oh, and I don't remember them having green feet/legs as tiny chicks, only as they matured.....
