I have been meaning to find this thread to see if Attimus is okay, but see he hasn't been on byc for some time. There has been a terrible fire in Mariposa county, very near where he works and lives. The latest map shows he may have been spared so far. I used to have quail, I'd send eggs to my niece, she was 6 at the time, and my SIL would make deviled eggs for her tea parties. She loved those little eggs.lol

I have chicken eggs that are quail sized... Seramas. Large yolk to white ratio. Quail eggs are supposed to be very good. Not sure about pickled, though.
