What quarantine/import laws do you have there? You might be able to buy it by mail order and have it shipped to you?

No we can't! We ( the common people ) are under very strict lows, BUT the government officials can do almost anything!
For example If I will order even 1 egg from a well known breeder in the US thst have all the permits I can be fined with a hige sum
But the Agricultural dep. Import every year more then 100,000,000 eggs! Sometimes salmonella infected eggs!
The same is with plant matirials! (And I am not talking about that smokebl ones! )

I have never heard of it and it's not in my Sunset Western Garden book. The page you linked for the curry tree said the seeds have to be fresh to be viable or you can propagate from cuttings, so it would be very difficult to smuggle it into any country. Helichrysum is easy to find here. We have a Mediterranean climate, so would grow well.

It's kind of sad, but I am oddly comforted by the fact that your politicians are as bad as ours. Seems to be universal.

Yes I know, but I think that the original will have a nicer taste, from what I have seen, it is a basic ingredient in almost every cooked dish there.
