Attimus I missed your hatch. Aww I miss hatching.

I did get some cornish X this morning and a friend said we could bring them to her farm when she get's ready to do hers. She has a plucker and a scalder! WhooT!

I picked so many tomatoes that I had to do something with them so, this morning I started some sauce.

The tomatoes, onion and some herbs are from the garden. The celery I had in the fridg.
I also added some
salt
pepper
garlic
tarragon
oregano
marjoram
basil
parsley
I will use some for supper and freeze the rest. I want to make some salsa next.
Does anyone have any good recipes for fresh salsa?

I dont know what t, you refer as salsa, but in Italian the word salsa is the word for sauce If you want somthing that is wonderful on grilled or fried fish do this 3 ripe and fresh tomatoes grated on a grater. Add 1/3 cup of extra Virgin olive oil 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/3 cup of finely chopped parsley 4-5 garlic cloves finly crushed 1/4 lemon juice Mix and fix taste by adding salt or oil If you like, you can add a hot fresh green chili

the hatch is happening now, looks like another zipping. As for the salsa, I just made western corn salsa at work for a steak omelet

Are you going to can your sauce?

Salsa consisted of onion, tomato, red bellpepper, corn, cilantro, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, fresh garlic, lemon juice, several dashes of garlic chili hotsauce.
Thank you Attimus. I do like chunky salsa on everything I can possibly put it on or in.
