I would not want to see the fallout of squishing it. That thing is way too juicy!

Thanks! I thought black widows were only a desert animal, but apparently we have them in the area. Yikes! 😳
 
We had them in NW NM and we've got them* here in SE MO as well. My kids have always been forbidden to interfere with wolfies. We have Rabid Wolf Spiders, lol, they're pretty good sized!

They have a very wide range. In the US there are 3 main varieties. Southern, Western, and Northern, and they've been settled in every state except Alaska.

Globally, there are 35 Latrodectus species, and they're found on every continent except Antarctica.
