Especially movie theater popcorn!!!!!SAY IT ISN'T SO! Popcorn is one of the major Food Groups!
I hate regular corn lolCorn, in general, is a terrible food choice for diabetics. Very high in sugar. Which is why I love it so, hot and fresh on the cob, slathered in butter, dripping off my chin and down my elbows like a hog in slop! Loved. Not love. Past tense.
Popcorn and corn in general are "eat in moderation" foods. Our gut doesn't process them well and they can trigger diverticulosis/itis as you get older, which sucks.
Source: Had surgical correction for diverticulitis that became very bad. 0 stars.
I have a BIG bowl of popcorn for dinner at least once a week, sometimes twice. Yellow popcorn, hot air popped, NOTHING on it. I am a popcorn purist. I like popped corn.SAY IT ISN'T SO! Popcorn is one of the major Food Groups!

Most places that carry chips have some brand of puff-corn. It's like Cheetos, but made from and tasting like corn. DD had to have it when she had braces ... no popcorn allowed! It's actually pretty good, all things considered. The taste is "right," but the texture is way off!Have you heard of puff corn? I learned about it in the program cause someone mentioned it. I want to try it. It is popcorn but without the kernels or husks. But from Googling, I can only find like two brands and like one or two places to buy it LOL I think Target is one. But I know there must be more brands or places to buy. But anyways, I really want to try it. I HATE kernels and husks. Always gets stuck in your teeth LOL plus the surgery risk AZ mentioned plus it might be good if you have minimal or no teeth because there’s no hard kernels. So yeah.
Free refills are a prerequisite for our theater selection! It’s why I go to theaters to watch movies.
Big screens? No. Big popcorn, hell yeah!
