If you could get any incubator for free, what would you get?

I would love a cabinet incubator that could hold at least 100 eggs. I've never shopped for one so couldn't say which one.

What's the view like from your window?

My desk is in a corner. To my left, the coop and garden I can see.



To my right. Evening Grosbeaks. Way over to the right is the Four Season pen and aviary.

What's your favorite state, county, or national park?

Sorry this got lost on me. My favorite park is a national park in northern Wisconsin. We camp every year, mostly in remote locations but it's fun to go to ones with electricity and running water too!

Are you cooking for Christmas?

We did! A ham and fixings. How about you?

We'd all just been to a different relative for a feast the night before so we didn't do a huge thing like Thanksgiving was.

Do you have a cat?

Yes, three of them. The one dearest to me is our last one, from the Humane Society, Stella. She's about 2. Lily is about 3 and is the best mouser. Oscar is a rescue and he's about 12. He was a great mouser too but a few years ago he got attacked by something in the woods and hasn't left the house since.

Stella guards the birds and brooders when she's inside.

Oscar's getting old and sleeps a lot.
