Link, Zelda, young Impa, all the ex-champions, the new champions from botw, King Rhoam, Kohga, and.... I think that is all the characters I have played as!!

The last 2 seem rather interesting. Do you have to unlock them and then you can play as them indefinitely, or are they only playable in certain scenarios?

(You can play different training levels with the different characters, and you change to whoever you like in your party)
