Asking for a friend

Hi, I’m asking for a friend. She had 3 leghorn hens, and 3 quineas. Unfortunately one of the hens got killed by a stray dog a few days ago, and the quineas went missing. Now the other two hens will not come out of the coup unless she is in it, even if she leaves treats like mealworms out. Any advice for her???

They are frightened. They will come out when they feel more comfortable. It's normal when a predator takes members.

The guineas may have moved on, what I had did, they moved to a larger wild flock.
