Your chickens are beautiful! I only raise silkies who all lay about the same boring beige/tan color but know folks raise a rainbow of colors. Good luck getting there!

Welcome. Your chickens are beautiful. There are a lot of really good genetic people here that will help you...I just am not one that can help.Last year I bought Chocolate Silver Laced Orpingtons and Light Sussex chicks, and I enjoy them, but recently I have decided to also put together a flock of colorful egg layers. Which is what brings me here. I am experienced with poultry in general, but know fairly little about breeding for egg color. Hoping to absorb some good information on the subject.
