Asserting dominance

I read somewhere on here that if you have a rooster that is starting to get aggressive. Which I'm not sure if he is trying to assert dominance and testing waters or not that is still yet to be determined.

But I believe I read somewhere to assert your dominance over a rooster is to grab them by the legs and hold them upside down and make eye contact with them? Does that actually work?

Possibly. It's not a cure all by any means and many males won't respond to it.

If he is becoming aggressive which I'm still unsure. It's worth a shot. I also wonder if he was responding to the owl tattooed on my calf which was exposed .
