I don't think either of those were primary issues for me, and I'd consider both of those to be non-academic factors.Did you get in fights and hurt people? Or did people tease you!

The GOVT is always wrong. Non-govt scientists are just OFTEN wrong. And when it comes to medicine at least, non-govt scientists often would like to actually BE right rather than just appear to be right as long as they're pulling in boatloads of cash. People and doctors don't like medicine that doesn't work.If they are "always wrong", then what is right? If all scientific studies were wrong, then what would explain the success behind medical treatments? A coincidence of that magnitude seems practically impossible, to me at least. Additionally, if a study identifies a factor which accounts for a substantial amount of variance of something, but doesn't explain 100% of the variance, that doesn't mean that it is wrong in suggesting that the association exists, even if the association isn't perfect.
How is it made up? Disabilities which cripple one's ability to perform academically exist, without one necessarily being "stupid".I know you're serious, but academic crippledom is some made up shit. You aren't stupid.

Research often involves a lot of trial and error, but that doesn't mean that no government scientist ever was right about anything, LOL.The GOVT is always wrong.
