I posted this on another thread and someone said she is malpositioned. What do you think?

One of my ducks had a nest of 5 duck eggs and 2 guinea eggs that all hatched at different times. I had to bring them into the garage with a heat lamp (since I don't have an incubator) once they started to hatch because fire ants were raiding the nest. I just monitored the temp and occasionally used a damp cloth, and squeezed a few drops into the open holes. The first to hatch was a guinea (12 hours after internal pip) and the last one was the other guinea egg (almost took a full 2 days to hatch). It seemed to take a long time, but they all made it.

I would just give the little chickie some more time.

Now that I look at it , it does look like its not in the correct position.. The help you are giving is needed!

chick looks malpo to me. Dont pull her out but do take the top half of the egg off. She should push herself out the rest of the way with her legs.

I would keep taking pieces off until it can push the egg apart the rest of the way.

I think she is a "foot over head" malpo.

I have seen @Ravynscroft successfully help with cases like this. Doesn't hurt to ask I suppose. It does look malpositioned. I'm no expert, but the leg is over the head in a sort of awkward position.
