Thanks for posting these! I've had to assist before with ducklings and more recently with a few incubated chicks, so it's reassuring to see I did things right.

I found this ice-cold in a nest yesterday. The hen had three hatch, so left nest with the ducklings and left 4 eggs in various stages of pipping.

I put all four in the incubator and gave them 24 hours. After 24 hours, this one had not made any progress and the shell was starting to discolor, which usually means they are ready to hatch.
