Assisted on a hatch! Help!

Thanks for the advice. Well, more for the reassurance lol. I had one Brown Leghorn hatch Wednesday night. The one Brown Leghorn that I assisted that pipped yesterday. And I also had a Welsummer hatch this morning too. So, I'm three chicks down. Other eggs don't seem to be doing anything yet

When I candled, I had a hard time seeing the Welsummers because their eggs are pretty dark. One of the ones I thought didn't progress, actually hatched lol. The Leghorns, (white eggs) were very easy to candle and two that I identified w/ chicks in them have hatched, leaving three that haven't yet.

I DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE THE PATIENCE FOR THIS!!!! I WANT THEM HERE NOW! LOLOLOL! I'm just as bad with these darn chicks as I was when I was pregnant w/ my kiddos!

It'll come around in a day or 2. it was just hatched a little too soon.. I had the same thing happen with my Serama baby, Miracle!

a full day after hatch -

I had, on my last hatch, a egg that pipped and then momma hen pushed t away. He was peeping very weakly, shrinkwrapped... I helped him out, warmed him up in my bra. He stayed there for a good hour before he was able to go back under Momma. Than he didnt move until morning! But he survived!

Every one of my chicks from my recent hatch pipped then did nothing for just over 24 HOURS. Then all of a sudden zipped and hatched. I'd wait at least that long from pip in the future as they are better to hatch by themselves if they can.

I dont understand why people say that chicks are better off hatched by themselves.. I have found no difference in assisted babies and natural hatched babies!
I shrink wrapped my last batch by accident and only one was a natural hatch out of 8 so 7 were assisted and I cant tell the difference in who was assisted an who was natural..

Well, either way she is just fine! I just moved her over to the brooder with the other two chicks and she's doing well! Still sleepy, but no more or less than the other two.

im no expert but i would have sed u probably should have left him be they do take quite long and they rest inbetween
