Assorted pics to share :)

Miriam - I always love your pictures. It really gives everyone a true glimpse of the bayou life. Your free ranging chickens always look so happy.

The Jerusalem Artichokes you sent me don't have a chance unless I move them or fence them off. I put some in the chicken pen - they keep eating them before they can get a leaf on them. So I put some in the duck pen, before it was the duck/chicken pen. Those got about two feet high till the chickens discovered them and ate them down to the ground. Now, same thing, they eat them before they get an inch tall. I need to put some wire around both sets, which are against a fence, till they get really big and then let the chickens have at whatever leaves they can reach.

Thanks yall, it's pretty & very isolated from everyone & everything, lol. I love it.We're very blessed to live here.
I've been so bummed here last couple of months, haven't really taken too many pics. But rain just makes everything come back to life, even the pesty mosquitos.Hopefully in the next couple of months,it'll start cooling off.
I'm glad yall enjoyed the pics,
Miriam
