At about 15 weeks

    No eggs yet. Just growing. Nest box is in with a golf ball in each box. 4 hens, 32 sq ft coop...200 sq ft run. My next project is to install a dog loo in the run with sand under the loo.

    I feel as though our hens are perfect. No problems in the coop. They sleep on the roosts. They don't seem to mind being held.

    My younsters are about that age too [​IMG] Your girls are pretty - always love the faces on EEs. Are your dark red birds RIRs? NHRs? You need to raise that roost up a few inches so those girls have a better view out that window [​IMG] I expect mine to start laying sometime in Jan - early Feb. Crossing my fingers for green or blue eggs... [​IMG]

    look for eggs at about 22 to 26 weeks
