The Cascades
No eggs yet. Just growing. Nest box is in with a golf ball in each box. 4 hens, 32 sq ft coop...200 sq ft run. My next project is to install a dog loo in the run with sand under the loo.

I feel as though our hens are perfect. No problems in the coop. They sleep on the roosts. They don't seem to mind being held.

Your girls are pretty - always love the faces on EEs. Are your dark red birds RIRs? NHRs? You need to raise that roost up a few inches so those girls have a better view out that window

I expect mine to start laying sometime in Jan - early Feb. Crossing my fingers for green or blue eggs...
