Maybe retired doctors could conduct the "body cavity" searches and check for polyps and other irregularities

There's probably a section in the new healthcare bill about it. Then, it will be train stations, bus terminals, courthouses and then, city bus stops...Free health screening for all.

Oh, yeah, and they can do your annual stress test, in the process.

DH calls the check points the "Taliban Road Block". He flies nearly every week. There aught to be a way to have some kind of pass for business people that are traveling every week or more. I do know that if some Yahoo tried to start something that DH would happy to make sure that the person was incapacitated. My only fear is that he could actually kill a person that tried to high-jack a plane. I know that I don't really every want to fly again, just because of the checkpoints. I don't want to be molested by a stranger.

Osama turned out to be a pretty darn smart dude. His intention was to bring America to it's knees financially. "Mission accomplished". Look at how much it cost to protect the airports. Trillions spent on the wars. Billions on Homeland Security. Privacy a thing of the past.

I think the body scanners and searches will eventually go bye bye. I'm still looking forward to going through a body scanner though.

Wonder why on my last "pat down" the guy looked at me strangely when I said, "Ooh, thanks."
