At the park with ducklings.

Do you guys have this problem with your ducks:

I’m at the park with 2x 3-week old Pekin Ducklings just walking around having fun. And these bonehead ducks stroll right up to two strange ladies having a picnic, blanket and all. Theyre sitting down with them having a picnic. Being a good citizen, I’m sitting under a tree 6+ feet away. Full transparency: I do NOT know these ladies.

They are adorable and very popular when we go out. This was hilarious to witness. I had no idea they were this friendly and welcoming towards strangers. In contrast, they still run away from me when I try to put them back into their box to take em home.

That’s what the ladies were saying! “Just like a toddler... imagine trying to put clothes on them!”

They were telling me one of the ladies was getting ready to move away and the others wanted to get her a duck t-shirt. So this experience was very appropriate for them. They had a blast!
