at waht age do ducks start to first lay? (Cayugas)

My problem i want to ask you is when do cayugad start to lay? need advice! want to hatch eggs for a friend!
My female is almost 6 months she will be on 04-12-11/ When will she lay? Thnx for whoever helps me!

I swear you ask this question every month and the answer is always the same...she will lay when she is ready to lay

sorry sorry i just am dying to know when!becuase i promised my friend I would hatch some eggs for her! shes duckcrazed too. i look everywhere and it says 6 months or 1 yr.
