At what age?¿?

Me no gottie no rooster. At what age will one of the pullets start to become the lead hen, head honcho, el hefe, top turkey, el numero uno, the exalted one, capo?¿?

Within about 2 weeks of birth, according to my experience

When the pecking order is established, and it varies for each flock.

Interestingly enough, the lead hen will adopt a lower, more growly voice. We have had 2 lead hens so far and both did the same thing!

what breed,, what flock,, how many,, what age,,....... i think it is really up to THEM,, maybe never, maybe YOU are their leader....hhmmmmm?????
every flock is different.. hard to tell ya.
