At what age do cockerels mature and start crowing?

We have at least one black wyandotte that is 19 weeks old and he hasnt even tried to crow yet

My barred rocks started right at 11 weeks. I've only caught one of them doing it... but both are moving on today since the city doesn't allow roos.

I’ve got 6 5week old chicks that my broody hatched out and one little Welsummer is making the best little crow he can muster

I have an EE cockerel about 12wks old. I know it is a boy because of the feathering and over look of this bird, but we have not had any crowing yet and I was wondering when he would start showing an interest in our girls. We have 5 girls that are 18wks and the other 5 are 12wks.

Umm... EE feathers lie sometimes. I'm pretty sure that's a pullet, My pullets of around the same age have combs around that same size, if not bigger. That being said, my rooster started crowing at 8 weeks. I have 2/2 cockerels being raised by a cemi-broody hen, interested to see when they start.
