At What Age Do You Open The Nesting Boxes To Chicks

Personally I'd have the nests open. As long as they are not sleeping in the nests you don't have a problem. If they are going to sleep in the nests when you open them I'd want to know before they start to lay so I could fix the problem before I started getting poopy eggs.

fixed our nest boxes Wednesday got out first egg today. I don't know which one lasted it.

You do not need to block off the nesting boxes. They start to lay at around 18 weeks but some begin earlier and others later. If you do block them off, open them around 16 weeks of age.
