At what age is pasty butt no longer a concern?

I don't honestly know the answer to this question. I have raised one flock of layers from chicks, and I didn't see pasty butt beyond the first week with them. I am currently raising meaties. They went outside without a light when they were two weeks old. I have seen no sign of pasty butt, and no ill effects from being outside. They actually have more feathers in than other people's meaties do who are still under the lamp. They are completely enclosed, huddle together at night, but other than that, they show no evidence of being chilled, and they are still growing well. Perhaps it is until their bodies are able to thermoregulate. It think that takes place in the first week.

I havent seen anything after the first week. I did have to cut some feathers off of one of my 2 yr old Buffs from this issue. she looked a lot more comfortable afterward.

After the 1st week, it didn't seem to be a problem for me anymore
