At what age to magpie ducks start mating?

I have just acquired a 3 month old magpie duck and I'm wondering how long I need to keep her separated from my drake who will undoubtably want to mate with her but I think she is still a bit too young.

Around 3-5 months of age! But since he just moved to your home it might take him a while to get settled and meet her!

I have my youngsters with the older ducks, but there are mature females in my flock.

If it were me I'd put them together and watch; any problem, I'd separate and wait until the female was a month older.
