I always wear plastic bags tied up around my shoes to keep them clean when I visit my chicken. I had one of my chicken on my lap cooing happily as I pet her and a moment I saw a strip piece of the plastic bag protruding the next it was gone, I am sure a chicken exchanged it for grass or something like a worm and ate it. I could not find it anywhere on the ground, will the chicken digest it? do I have to worry? thank you!

my flock loves to eat naylon remains from greenhouse covers that are mixed up with the "good soil" that i bought 15 trucks of it to fill up my yard.

i did and i still do my best to remove them ALL, but if they do find one, they would even fight for it.

its not that the hen thought it was grass or worm, she just loved it!!!!!!!

My chicken at my broken no-slip grip rubber pony-tail holder today. Yup. I'm not too worried. She really just thought it was a juicy worm and wouldn't share with the other girls.

ETA: I figure if they eat rocks, sand, dirt, poop, etc a little bit of plastic won't kill them.... I hope.

Most of the time things like plastic, small pieces of metal (etc) will not cause any problem. I doubt if this case will be any different. There is no reason to worry.
tatertor - how did your chook fit the bag down?
