Shleya felt as if she had just been frozen because the whole concept of stopping time hit her. It felt like there was ice in her blood. "You're right Kelly.... we shouldn't stay here." She agreed not taking her eyes off a point in the distance.
Shleya just nodded again, hoping what she was seeing was just an illusion. She regained focus and looked at Julie expectantly. "What now?" She asked not really focusing on the task at hand.
"First, we cover our tracks... we're probably drawing attention already." She said. "I'm sure you all noticed that girl watching us from that tree down there." She said and pointed to the tree where Madeline had been in. "She's been around for a while. Actually, she's been there since the earthquake and has stayed low. She's done very well, surprisingly. No one else seemed to noticed till now." She said.
Shkeya looked at her seriously. "It's surprisingly hard to keep a low profile when people are trying to mug you." Shleya grumbled. "I accutally haven't fought anyone with my powers, I can almost always rely on my sword." She said fingering the pommel the air currents churning under her feet ominously.
