One of the cacti missed, but the other hit right on target. She groaned and hit the ground. 'Don't concentrate on the pain' she thought-yelled at herself. Her mind thought back to the mutant bird. If she could get the doors open... vines sprouted from the ground near each of the doors. The door from the animal's area to the computer lab creaked open...

Mason tried to ignore the fact that two girls were fighting. He read their stances and weak points... kind of making it a computer game to try to keep the anger out of his head. But one thing he just couldn't ignore was how Dj was running in a circle panicking about the fight.

Shleya hid her surprise as Daren changed back. Her anger leaked away. She was still pretty frustrated that he was such a jerk when his hair was black... But when his hair was blue, It seemed like a whole different story.

Zane wasnt sure what to do. He hated fighting, but didnt want to get in the middle of it, other wise he might become part of the fight too, which he didn't want that. So he just stood there.
