Ha, the girls toss, kick, and dig all day.

What filters out the ½ inch hardware cloth I collect for my Master gardeners who contribute to the deep litter.

I have averaged 5 to 6, 50 gallon garbage pails of sifted compost per year with about a dozen happy chickens.

Something to be said for building a coop like Fort Knox! I would have called animal control so they could pick their dogs up at the pound. Also gets their dogs on the record as being a nuisance.

Good story, thanks for the pics. Glad your coop and run prevailed. Hopefully, the show dog will mind her manners and will not suffer an other broken nail. Oh the embarrassment of a broken nail!
