Attacking Chixs

My older Chickens wont leave my chixs who are 11 weeks old alone they keep chasing them and pecking them its been three weeks since I put them together Thanks

i hope your chicks get things worked out it seems you have aggressive older birds. they should have the old pecking order worked out by know. no suggestions just plenty food water and no over crowding.

Of course this is only my opinion, but I say until they are almost the same size, keep them apart. I have had some that are aggressive and they wouldn't stop and my chicks died in the whole mean thing. I try to only introduce them when they are the same size now since I lost some that were getting older. For me it also helps because I like to keep the chicks on a starter feed until they lay the first eggs since it will help them grow faster.
