Iris always tries to attack us. He will bite us and if he gets your skin he will hold onto it and will not let go. Is he mad at us?

Well now it sounds like you need to be rescued lol, sorry it was the first thing that came to me. We have giant pekin and California blue muscovy ducks and no problems so far. They do bite the chickens to make them move away from the food but never bite us. Sorry I am of no help, good luck.

When he does that hold his head, pick him up, and hold him. Then, get him some girlfriends.

Some have also tried the holding him down and holding his head to the ground trick, too. This often only works temporarily.

You might just have to resolve that he will be like this and have to limit your time with him. If that happens, it's best to get more girl ducks so he won't be lonely.

This is exactly why I hope like mad we end up with a girl duck...
