Ohhh! This is so exciting! I am totally following this thread! Maybe you can sterilize the outside of the cup everyone now and then to prevent bacteria from getting in? I don't know, if it would hurt the egg or not though. I am very glad someone is doing this experiment!

Ya, maybe if you kill th bacteria on tehoutside of the cup before it can make it in, it will keep the bacteria away from the chick? This is such a cool thread, I had always though about this, but never really though could succeed in doing it, plus I don have an incubator so I can try it yet. I am so excited to see the outcome!
