Yeah, I got one black from your lines also! Rumpy is non-tufted but rumpless, a real sweetheart! I love how graceful these birds are, but they are really independent....that may be dangerous here, and I hate having to cage/pen the birds, but I'm rethinking their "freedom" options. I found Tuft out on the property on a bush the other day, she was quite pleased with herself! I was NOT! She was on the wrong side of the fence, a very dangerous wrong side of the fence, she got lucky this time though...

I must say BEAUTIFUL araucanas! I used to have mostly araucanas, but this year we were hit hard with predators. All I have left now is one rumpless cockeral and one part araucana rumpless roo with bilateral tufts. I am just sick - all of my GOOD araucanas gone.

Any how, here is a picture of my rumpless cockeral. Thought he was going to be blue, but obviously he's grown more colors:
