Here we are in 2002 at the Fresno County Horse Park (formerly known as Ram Tap) competing at the Beginner Novice Level. He was 22 in this photo:
What a lovely pony! I wondered what happened to Ram Tap, nice to know it's still there but changed names. Did you ever compete at American Valley, in Quincy? I came down from WA to compete there in 2000 and loved the course, but unfortunately it's gone now, like so many others.

I just realized I don't think I ever posted mine. He's very very talented and excels at:

Rolling in the muddiest spot available-

Napping- (He says he's worked really hard at nap perfection)

And eating phones-

Bianca, our most recent rescue. She's had a harsh past and has scars all over her right side. Lots of anxiety, especially if you pet or touch her on her right side. She is a 16-18 year old Standardbred and was used for cart racing.

This is Nimbus, our 2 year old Tennessee Walker gelding. He's only known a kill pen life up until we adopted him 2 months ago. He was a horse that we couldn't touch before, now we can do almost anything with him, he's such a calm sweetheart. We assume that he was dumped at a kill lot as a young weanling because of his cow-hocked back legs. He's forever loved and will grow to be with us for the rest of his life.

This is Candy, our miniature pony. She was rescued at a kill lot as well. We don't know much about her past besides her being a blind service pony for another horse. She is 16 years old and seems to prefer to be with humans 24/7 rather than other horses or ponies. She came with a nasty respiratory infection, which then resolved in time. She has chronic heaves and it shows if she runs or rolls around, other than that, she's a happy, healthy sweetie!
