Attention west tennessee

Anybody around Paris, TN want to buy some Barnevelders? They are really beautiful birds, but I can't seem to get them to lay. I have 9 hens and 1 roo and I get 1 egg a day. I just can't afford to feed them for 1 egg a day. PM me if you are interested. I am asking $ 8.00 a piece for them. If no one wants them, I'll just throw them in the pot.

I know someone that has light pink silkies, she calls them pink porclean. I will ask her if she doesn't mind if i post a pic.

she developed them by breeding red to lavender, which we will be doing here as well with my new red ones. If she says I can post it I will.

I am hatching some silkies now, but I don't have lavender ones. Does it matter which one is lav? (hen or roo?)
Put me on your list for pink silkies in 2009 or 2010 or whenever!

Congrats On the horse!! I wish you the best of luck!! I know you will do the best you can for it. Even though we have never met in person, your love for animals shines through in your posts. Oh and by the way-- All this talk about silkies is making me bite my nails. I have been wanting a few silkies for setters next spring. But I keep on seeing and reading about them NOW!! I think I am addicted. Lawd Lawd Lawd --Help me
