Hey Gumpsgirl... I did make a couple of hats but I dont think they are what your wanting after reading some of these post

its ok I'll make different ones when I get the right yarn. I wasnt thinking about needing soft yarn and all I had here was Red Heart worsted medium yarn. I do have a big thing of Baby Boucle Bernat yarn and its soft. Also I used the knifty knitter so the hats do have holes in them when you put them on

I used 2 strands of yarn? Guess I need to learn to do it by hand someday.

I want to thank everyone that sent hats to me for all of your help! I was able to collect 33 hats total and some more yarn that has made several!

The hats have been taken to the cancer center and everyone was super excited about them and they were all greatly appreciated.

It seems like a lot of the adult cancer centers are low on nice hats or have none at all. I went through treatment when i was 14yrs old and remember there was always a lot of hats in the basket at the office. My grandmother is going through treatment now and most visits there is NO hats at all in the basket. I've been trying to work on hats for the center my grandmother goes to, at least donating one hat every time we're in. Adults are definitely harder to please as far as handmade hats go. Most kids see one in their favorite color and immediately that's their favorite hat

It's nice to see others helping out
