Wow, I can't wait to see pics. My neighbor has spotted 5 RC's in the ones he has hathed but he has hatched a lot of them so more chances. Let me know if any of yours turn out rosecomb. What color silkies did you get.

I haven't taken them out of the hatcher yet....I'll have to check out their combs when I do. One of the silkies looks like a grey or blue....the other looks to be darker yet, but she was still not fluffed too good. I'll post pix tomorrow.

Went down for the last check of the night and there's another pip......maybe I'll have another RIR in the morning.

The one that was pipped last night hatched this morning. I moved the rest into the brooder with 2 olive eggers that hatched last friday.Final count is 8 RIR and 2 silkies.

It looks like the last one to hatch is a rose comb. It seems a little slow, but then it just hatched this mid morning. I left it in the hatcher for now.

Very pretty babies. Awwwee a RC. I loved my RC's Hate I lost the Roo. I will have to get a son and breed back to Hen.
